Board of Governors

2023–24

Great schools have great leaders. Members of 91Ԫ’s Board of Governors include business and community leaders who are alumnae, current parents or past parents. They set the strategic directions for the school and, in partnership with Principal Karen L. Jurjevich, they help ensure 91Ԫ’s financial well-being and overall success as the Board’s vision and goals are met.

Members are elected at 91Ԫ’s Annual General Meeting each September. The Board holds monthly meetings during the academic year and special meetings as required. In addition to the three standing committees of Audit, Governance and Property, ad hoc committees form at the Board’s discretion.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which 91Ԫ operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
