Centre for Strategic Leadership

Centre for Strategic Leadership

Welcome to the CSL

The Centre for Strategic Leadership (CSL) at 91Ԫ was founded on the belief that a school is the sum total of the talent of its people and that leadership skills can be intentionally developed. The first centre of its kind at a JK-Grade 12 school in Canada, the CSL provides 91Ԫ employees with a range of leadership programs to assist them in identifying their path to personal and professional leadership development.

Inspired by the school’s strategic priority to invest in the growth, development and retention of our employees, the CSL takes a strength-based approach and uses values-driven practices to uplift teams and build school-wide leadership capacity. The CSL builds alignment with, and accountability for, the delivery of the school’s mission, strategy and its commitment to social-emotional learning (SEL) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Innovation.

What the CSL Offers 91Ԫ Employees

CSL opportunities for Banksome employees include:

  • Individual coaching and mentoring
  • Facilitated workshops designed and delivered to specific teams to develop skills and build their leadership toolkits
  • Lunchtime Leadership Conversations

The CSL works with the Senior leadership Team to optimize organizational growth and support school-wide succession planning.

Meet the Team

We wish to acknowledge this land on which 91Ԫ operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
